About me

Our website address is: https://majce.com. (Gee, who would have guessed!)

What kind of personal data do I collect?

With commenting disabled, no contact forms in use, and not user tracking like Google Analytics installed, I currently do not collect any data of the visitors of this site.

Cookies

Cookies are small data files that are served by our platform and stored on your device. This site uses cookies by us or third parties for a variety of purposes including to operate the website. For example, the cookie notice plugin will drop a cookie to remember whether you accept cookies from this site or not. Weird, huh? 😉 Also, cookies may also be used to track how you use the site to target ads to you on other websites (currently not in use). I might place partner links to Amazon products which will result in Amazon storing a cookie on your device for 24 hours.

Embedded content from other websites

Posts and pages on this website can include content from other websites, like for example, Instagram or YouTube. Using those embeddded contents, is like visiting that original website. So, these websites of course can collect your data, drop cookies, use tracking software, etc., especially if you are logged into your user account on one of these sites. For example, an embedded YouTube video on my site will do nothing until you click play (because I embed them with data protection active, otherwise YouTube would start collecting data the moment you open the page with an embedded video. When you click play, you actively access their page through that little window with the video playing. If you are logged into your Google account in the browser you are using, Google will remember that you played that video, when you played it, from which page (mine) you accessed it, etc. That is something I have no influence over.

Caching Plugin

This site utilizes caching in order to facilitate a faster response time and better user experience. Caching potentially stores a duplicate copy of every web page that is on display on this site. All cache files are temporary, and are never accessed by any third party, except as necessary to obtain technical support from the cache plugin vendor. Cache files expire on a schedule set by the site administrator, but may easily be purged by the admin before their natural expiration, if necessary.
